London Day 2

The day started out with Big Ben slapping us in the face. He intimately stared down at us as we walked up out of the underground subway. It was a jaw-dropping experience. One that both of us will always remember. The sites kept coming as the day went on.

Sorry - ran out of time to completely update it. We will finish it later.

Saw Westminster abbey - where the royal wedding was just held. We were not allowed to take photos inside. But here is one we got from google. It was a very unique church inside. There was hundreds of burials and monuments. It was impressive to see how history was there. We want to thank Amanda's parents for sponsoring our trip into the Westminster Abbey. It was very insightful and enjoyable.

 Amanda with Big Ben. Cute!
Parliament. Amazing site from on the bridge
Buckingham Palace - where the queen lives. Her flag was not up, so she was not at home.. if she was, we would have had some tea with her.
Victoria's Statue outside Buckingham. Steven liked the farmer-lion combo.

Had lunch at Wellington Arch

Like the X in the background.

Piccadilly Circus - a main square with attractions and shows.

At Trafalgar Square - Many statues, fountains, and art museum.

 Another picture at the square.

View of London Eye on south bank looking back at Ben and friends

Pub where we relaxed for a bit and got another bitter on cask.
Chasing Crossing. Gates to Buckingham palace entrance way.

Finished the night at Uncle Andrews local hang out - the infamous Jeramey Bethams.
