London Day 3

The day started with sleeping in. Something that was high on the priority list. After having a nice breakfast we went back to the British museum (bc its literally a couple blocks from Aunt Buffy's flat, a lot we didn't see, and its free).  A few examples of things we saw are attached.
Amanda pretending to write on the fake Rosetta stone.
We also looked at the ancient Asia section (shout out to Steven's lab).
After the British Museum we went to the British Library. Its a relatively modern building but made to match the London's Train station (see picture). The British Library is a library but they also have a special section dedicated to impotant documents.. called the Sacred Collection (or something like that). We saw the original Magna Carta, Canterbury Tales, Beethoven, Mozart, Beetles lyrics, Di Vinci's scientific notes and others. It was pretty neat. After that we walked to the train station to see where we will be leaving out of tomorrow morning.
After lunch (pizza, brie/strawberries/crackers at Aunt Buffy's place, we took a trip down Regent Street. This street connects the high end shopping to palaces the big squares/gov't buildings. As you can see, the view was quite British.
On a side street of Regent, there is a high end, very posse shopping mall call Liberty. The exterior was neat... very Shakespeare like.
 Count down to London 12

Went into the National gallery (picture above) and saw numerous great paintings. Examples are attached. Amanda was amazed at seeing Van Gogh, Monet, and Surat. Great stuff. They also had a large section of old colorful religious paintings.
